No customer data
Veritrel has no screening service and no channel through which customer names or searches could reach us. Automated tests confirm this with every change to our systems.
Security
Security controls that clients can verify.
Veritrel holds no client customer data. The data we do hold is encrypted, every delivery is signed, and every action is recorded.
Controls
Six controls in place across our systems.
Signing keys in hardware
Every delivery is signed with an RSA-3072 key held in hardware security modules. The private key cannot be exported, and only a dedicated signing service may use it.
Encryption
Our systems are hosted in Singapore. Identifiers are encrypted field by field, original source files are encrypted before storage, and all connections use TLS.
Permanent records
Source files, record versions and the audit trail can only be added to, never altered, and the database itself enforces this. Every decision records who made it and why.
Restricted staff access
The staff portal is protected by an identity gateway with multi-factor authentication. Access is limited by role, and every action is logged.
Independent backups
Databases are backed up daily. An additional encrypted copy is held by a separate provider in another region and is protected against deletion.
Responsible disclosure
Reporting a security concern
Please report any suspected vulnerability to us privately and allow reasonable time for it to be resolved before disclosure. Every report receives a reply.
